Collision blocks lanes on I-20 at Two Notch Road in Columbia SC

Interstate 20 at Two Notch Road was blocked by a collision at about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, the South Carolina Highway Patrol reported.

The crash was cleared by 8:30 a.m.

The agency said there were injuries to people involved, but no further details were available Wednesday morning.

The SC Department of Transportation also reported another collision at Exit 76 15 minutes later. Two Notch Road is Exit 74.

The SC Department of Transportation said traffic was slowed to about 21 mph for four miles. on I-20 west between Exit 80-Clemson Road-Columbia and Exit 74-US 1-Columbia.

A few minutes earlier, another crash occurred on Interstate 20, this one near Exit 58 in Lexington County. Lanes were cleared quickly in that collision.
