A Red Bank family is out of their home after it burned on Thanksgiving Day, according to the American Red Cross.

A spokesperson for Red Cross said it’s assisting three people whose home on Rabon Road in Red Bank burned on Thursday. Rabon Road is off Platt Springs Road about two miles west of White Knoll High School.

The Red Cross is “providing financial assistance for immediate needs such as food, clothing and shelter, along with referrals to much needed resources,” the organization said in a statement.

The Lexington Ledger reported that the Lexington County Fire Department received the first call about the fire just after noon Thursday. Firefighters were able to get the fire under control and parts of the home were salvageable.

The cause of the fire has not been publicly announced.
