Coroner identifies man killed in Midlands house fire
A house fire in Kershaw County killed a man Wednesday night, according to the coroner’s office.
The fire was at a home on Highway Church Road in Elgin, the Kershaw County Coroner’s Office said. A neighbor called 911 about the fire just before 8:15 p.m.
The coroner’s office identified the victim as 70-year-old Jack Hall.
