Missing Richland County man found, sheriff’s department says

A search is underway for a missing Midlands man with medical issues.
Matthew Terrell Tucker, 40, was publicly reported missing by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department on Sunday.
Tucker has not been seen since 3:40 p.m. Saturday, on Casbel Court in Hopkins, the sheriff’s department said in a news release. That’s in the area between Leesburg Road and Garners Ferry Road.
Tucker has “serious” medical issues that require treatment, the sheriff’s department said. Further information on his condition was not available, but the sheriff’s department said Tucker requires “constant care and he is unable to care for himself.”
Tucker has not been in touch with family or friends, and did not take his cellphone, according to the release.
The sheriff’s department described Tucker as a 5-foot-7 man with a shaved head. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue and black sleep pants, and tennis shoes, according to the release.
Anyone who has seen Tucker or has any information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911, or CrimeStoppers at 888-CRIME-SC or submit an online tip.
