Want a free Loveland coffee in downtown Columbia? Here’s where and when you can get it

A cup of coffee.
A cup of coffee.

Looking for a free cup of coffee in downtown Columbia? Experience Columbia SC has you covered the next few mornings.

Experience Columbia SC, the region’s tourism and visitors bureau, is shining a spotlight on the Soda City Sunrise coffee blend from Loveland Coffee, which is based in Irmo.

From 9 to 11 a.m. on Feb. 17, 18 and 19, free cups of Soda City Sunrise coffee will be available at the Columbia SC Visitors Center at the corner of Lincoln and Gervais streets in the Vista. There also will be bags of the coffee for sale at the visitors center.

Loveland Coffee has a roastery and cafe, as well as a drive-thru kiosk, in Irmo. Its website describes the Soda City Sunrise blend as “a perfect blend of Latin and South American coffees for a very well balanced, approachable coffee for any occasion” and notes that it has “smooth, mild flavors of caramel and chocolate with a lemon citric finish.”
