Richland County deputies looking for man, 51, missing since Sunday

Richland County authorities have appealed to the public for help locating a missing 51-year-old man, last seen around noon on Sunday in Blythewood.

Stanaland “Keith” Dixon was seen with a friend in a pickup truck riding off-road near I-77 in Blythewood, Sheriff Leon Lott said.

When the truck became stuck in the mud, Dixon decided to walk to Blythewood for help. He has not been seen since then, Lott said.

According to authorities, Dixon suffers from a serious medial condition. There is concern for his safety given the amount of time he has been missing, Lott said.

Dixon is described as a white male standing about 5-feet 8 inches tall. He weighs about 175 pounds, has salt and pepper hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt , blue jean shorts and flip flops.

Anyone with information about Dixon is asked to call 911 immediately.
