A new seafood spot is coming to Columbia. Take a look at what’s on the menu

There’s a new seafood spot with crab clusters, shrimp and grits, gumbo and more headed to Columbia.

According to a news release from the city of Columbia, Krab Kingz Seafood restaurant will have a grand opening at 11 a.m. April 21 at 1410 Colonial Life Blvd., suite 150. That’s in the Colonial Village Shopping Center that also features The Melting Pot restaurant, a campaign office of U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, and other storefronts. The location is less than a half-mile from the Dutch Square mall on nearby Bush River Road.

Columbia Mayor Daniel Rickenmann and other city officials will be at the grand opening celebration, along with Columbia Chamber representatives and restaurant owners Delane Garner and David Sambrone-Darkins, per the release.

Krab Kingz will offer a deep roster of seafood favorites, according to a menu on the restaurant’s website. Among the options will be po’ boy sandwiches; charbroiled salmon burgers; Cajun gumbo; shrimp platters; seafood boils that include crab clusters, sausage, corn and potatoes; shrimp pasta; shrimp and grits; deep-fried catfish and more.

The spot also will have a number of butter flavors to go along with the seafood confections, including original, lemon pepper, honey garlic, Cajun, Caribbean jerk, hot Buffalo, and spicy.
