Multi-million dollar Lake Murray home just hit the market. Take a look inside
If you’re looking for a home on Lake Murray, a nice one just came up on the market, if you can afford it.
The listing on Old Chapin Road is a secluded spot with lakefront access, and it could all be yours for $3.2 million.
The four-bed, 3.5-bath house sits on 4.63 acres with 350 feet of water frontage. With 3,500-square-feet, the two-story home is located near the Governor’s Grant neighborhood, but has its own secluded lakefront with a dock and, by the time the property sells, a 2,100-lb. boat lift, according to the listing.
“The sellers say you can be on the back porch and not have to worry about anybody seeing them,” said Maria Calcutt, the listing agent with Coldwell Banker Realty Lexington/Lake Murray.
Those views can be taken in from the in-ground pool or the wrap-around porch. The main room on the second floor offers access to the porch via sliding glass doors, but the interior also boasts a fireplace, hardwood floors and a kitchen with granite countertops and Brazilian cherry floors.
The lower level includes a media room with additional bed and bathrooms plus a storage/workout area. Other features include a metal roof and a three-car garage.
The single-family home was built in 1983, according to the listing. It was last sold in 2007 for $920,000. It was briefly listed at $1.9 million in 2009 before that listing was removed. The current listing has been up since April 28.
