A new butcher shop in Lexington is set to debut. Here’s when it plans to open

The New York Butcher Shoppe is opening its newest location near downtown Lexington on Wednesday.

“Our Shoppe will officially be opening this Wednesday!,” the location posted on Facebook. “We’re getting everything ready for you!”

The shop has continuously been sharing construction and training updates on the new location over the last few months.

The Lexington New York Butcher Shoppe location will be at 400 West Main St., not far from the heart of downtown. It is near a Wells Fargo bank and Quality Inn and Suites.

There are more than a dozen New York Butcher Shoppe locations throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Florida. Among the locations already in operation in South Carolina is a store at 1500 Woodrow St. in Columbia.

The New York Butcher Shoppe offers a host of items, per its website, including a large selection of fresh beef, chicken, pork, veal and lamb. The shop has a menu of prepared foods, including salads, macaroni and cheese, twice baked potatoes and much more. There also will be wines, cheeses and desserts available.
