A law firm that’s had a high-profile advertising presence across South Carolina for years is set to have an office in the heart of Lexington.

Poulin | Willey | Anastopoulo, which does business as the Anastopoulo Law Firm, announced in a release that it is adding a location at 111 East Main St. in Lexington. That is in downtown Lexington, across the street from the Keg Cowboy restaurant and a short walk from the Lexington County Courthouse.

The Anastopoulo Law Firm has been expanding, and Lexington will mark its seventh location in South Carolina. The others are in Charleston, North Charleston, Columbia, Florence, Greenville and Myrtle Beach. The firm also has branches in Atlanta, Charlotte, and Lumberton, N.C.

The downtown Lexington office “will be staffed by attorneys who are joining the firm from regional insurance defense firms,” the release said. The firm plans to open more offices and make additional hires across the region in coming months, the release noted.

“We couldn’t be more excited about our continued expansion,” firm partner Roy T. Willey IV said in a statement. “With our new office in Lexington, it will allow us to serve more people across the Midlands and all of South Carolina. We are humbled and encouraged by the tremendous trust our clients place in our results oriented approach to handling their cases that permits our continued growth.”

The Anastopoulo Law Firm has been well-known for years, in part because of its seemingly ubiquitous TV commercials on local stations, which tell viewers, “Don’t scream, call Akim!,” a reference to attorney Akim Anastopoulo. The firm also has had numerous billboards around the state, highlighting its oft-repeated “all sevens” phone number of 800-777-7777.
