Sephora, HomeGoods locations coming to this trendy Forest Acres shopping center
A pair of national retailers are planning new locations in Forest Acres near Columbia.
Home furnishings store HomeGoods and beauty products company Sephora are planned for the Trenholm Plaza shopping center at 4840 Forest Drive. A spokesperson with the town of Forest Acres said the town has construction plans for the businesses.
Construction plans for the Sephora were approved by Forest Acres on May 16, and for HomeGoods on May 25, according to the spokesperson. The new businesses are going into the spot formerly occupied by a Stein Mart. That space will reportedly be divided into three storefronts, according to town officials. The town did not have construction plans for the third spot as of June 6.
The HomeGoods and Sephora plans were first reported by The Post and Courier.
HomeGoods is part of a group that includes a number of retailers, including TJ Maxx and Marshall’s, among others. It sells furnishings, home decor, rugs, bath and kitchen accessories, and more. Meanwhile, Sephora specializes in personal care and beauty products. It has more than 2,700 stores in 35 countries worldwide.
The Trenholm Plaza shopping center already is home to a host of businesses, including Publix, The Fresh Market, Starbucks, Loft, Soma and others.
