The dough is rising once again in Rosewood.

Crust Bakehouse, a small but popular bakery in Columbia’s Rosewood neighborhood, reopened on Friday after being closed for nearly two months for renovations and repairs. The bakery, which has been in business for a decade and under its current ownership since 2019, confirmed the reopening on Instagram and Facebook.

It had been closed since May 20 for what the business referred to on social media as a period of “renovation/repair/revamp/relaxation.”

Crust Bakehouse is located at 2701-B Rosewood Drive. It’s in the Shoppes on Rosewood shopping center that also includes Gibson Jewelers and several other businesses. The bakery is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays.

Crust is known for its rotating menu of fresh baked breads and pastries. The Rosewood Sourdough is a mainstay, and the shop has offered a host of other treats through the years, including cookies, scones, brownies, baguettes and more.
