A person died Sunday after a motorcycle crash in Richland County.

The one-vehicle wreck occurred at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday on Antioch Amez Church Road, S.C. Highway Patrolman Brian Lee said. That’s in Lower Richland, just south of Highway 378 near Eastover.

The Richland County Coroner’s Office had not publicly identified the rider as of early Monday morning.

A 2014 Suzuki motorcycle was traveling northeast on Antioch Amez when the rider went left of the center line, Lee said. The rider corrected back into the right lane but then wrecked and was ejected from the bike.

The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol, Lee said.
