Officials reported an incident between a train and a cargo truck on Friday morning in Orangeburg, one that left several city streets temporarily closed.

According to a Facebook post from the city of Orangeburg, the incident between the train and the tractor trailer happened at the intersection of Whaley and Magnolia streets in Orangeburg. That’s about a mile and a half southeast of the Orangeburg County Courthouse.

There were no injuries in the incident, Orangeburg officials said. Photos from the scene show a tractor trailer truck with a photo of a sandwich on the side of it, with numerous plastic pallets spilled out of the back.

The city did not specify the nature of the “incident” between the two vehicles and did not say whether they specifically collided with one another.

As of 8 a.m., the following roads were temporarily closed: Broughton at Magnolia and Stonewall Jackson near the armory at Airport Road.
