Popular, tech-infused furniture brand to open store in this bustling Columbia shopping area

A brand that is known for its comfy, beanbag-like “Sac” chairs and adaptable couches is planning a store in a busy Columbia shopping district.

Lovesac has plans for a store at 201 Harbison Blvd., in the Harbison Crossing shopping center, according to a Facebook post from commercial real estate firm Trinity Partners, which helped facilitate the deal.

The shopping center where the Lovesac showroom will be is in the popular Harbison shopping district near Irmo, not far from the Columbiana Centre mall and other nearby retail favorites such as Target, Publix, Old Navy, Hobby Lobby and others.

Lovesac, which has long been a popular online retailer of plush, oversize Sacs chairs and other furniture, also has showrooms across the nation. The company currently has a kiosk inside the Columbiana Centre.

The Lovesac brand also is known for its “Sactional” couches, which can include various StealthTech features, including speakers and smartphone chargers embedded within the couches.

The furniture store will be located along a high-traffic thoroughfare not far from Interstate 26. S.C. Department of Transportation data indicates 25,000 cars per day travel down that section of Harbison Boulevard.
