A new Biggby Coffee shop in Lexington County has set an opening date
A new spot for coffee on-the-go has set an opening date in Lexington County.
Biggby Coffee, a franchise with locations across a number of states, announced in posts on social media that it will have a grand opening on April 18 at the store at 1430 Two Notch Road in Lexington, near Red Bank. While it is addressed on Two Notch, the Biggby is effectively located just off busy South Lake Drive, between a CVS and a Wendy’s.
“It’s official,” the Biggby off South Lake said in a Facebook post. “Opening day is April 18. It’s been a long journey but it’s finally happening!”
The Biggby is less than a mile south of Interstate 20, and is part of a busy thoroughfare. According to S.C. Department of Transportation traffic count data, about 28,000 cars per day travel down that section of South Lake Drive.
Biggby Coffee has locations in Indiana, Tennessee, Georgia, Ohio, Michigan, North Carolina and elsewhere. Per the company’s website, Biggby has a menu stocked with hot and cold coffee drinks, lattes, energy drinks, hot chocolate, sandwiches, muffins, bagels and more.
