The names of Linda Wells and Dixon Brooks were added to the Aflac Duckprints Wall of Fame at Palmetto Children’s Hospital on Friday for their contributions in the fight against childhood cancer.

Wells is the first pediatric oncology/hematology nurse at Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital and a co-founder of CAMP KEMO, a summer camp for children with cancer.

Brooks, Airport High School’s principal, help lead the school’s charity drive that raised more than $300,000 over 15 years for CAMP KEMO. Last year, Airport was able to send 100 children to summer camp by raising more than $54,000.

Attendees also heard the story of Kaitlyn Jacobs, a high school student and patient at the hospital.
