Sully’s Steamers sets opening date for its first Columbia bagel sandwich shop
Columbia’s first Sully’s Steamers restaurant is ready to open.
Starting at 7 a.m. Monday, June 26, guests will be able to try Sully’s Steamers’ steamed sandwiches, described as “melty” and “luscious” in a news release from the restaurant.
The restaurant plans to stay open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for two weeks before expanding hours and setting a date for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Michael and Brittany Stuckey of Southern Way Catering will be leading the first Sully Steamer’s in the Midlands, with plans to expand the franchise to Lexington, Forest Acres, West Columbia and Irmo in the future. The 2835 Devine St. store will join other Sully’s Steamers restaurants across South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia.
The building will feature an outdoor patio, TVs and yard games.
In addition to sandwiches such as the Nachos Maximus (which has turkey, cheddar, lettuce, honey mustard, parm-peppercorn and Doritos on the sandwich) and the Hulk (turkey, pepperoni, salami, onions, provolone, cheddar and Italian dressing), the store will also offer alcoholic beverages. In the fall, it plans to offer Friday and Saturday late-night menu hours.
