A new spot for steak, bourbon and more is headed to the Midlands.

B. Colson’s, which describes itself as “a polished casual restaurant serving steaks, seafood and bourbons,” plans to open in at 1105 Broad St. in downtown Camden, according to posts on the restaurant’s social media channels. The restaurant hopes to open in December.

Owners Scott and Michelle Edwards are opening B. Colson’s, per a Sept. 17 Facebook post, which said the owners are working on “creating a cozy spot where you can enjoy the tastiest steaks and the freshest seafood.”

The restaurant said it will continue to update its social media channels with posts on B. Colson’s progress in the months leading up to the opening.

“Picture this: a place where the smell of yummy food fills the air, where you can share laughter and stories over a glass of smooth bourbon, and where every meal feels like a special family gathering,” the restaurant said on Facebook.

Downtown Camden has continued to be a popular destination for residents and tourists alike, with a number of restaurants, shops, a movie theater and other cultural offerings.
