Harbison Boulevard can wait, as it turns out.

A Midlands woman recently won $300,000 in the South Carolina Education Lottery after picking up a $10 Black Diamond Dazzler ticket at the Shiv Mart on North Main Street in Columbia, according to lottery officials.

Per a release from the lottery office, the woman was on her way to Harbison to do some shopping when she decided to stop at the Shiv Mart to get some gasoline. While she was standing at the gas pump, she scratched off the $10 lottery ticket she had gotten inside the store.

“Oh, my,” the woman, whose name was not released by lottery officials, reportedly said.

Rather than continue on to Harbison to shop, the woman instead drove straight to the lottery’s claims center on Assembly Street to claim her prize.

The Shiv Mart received a $3,000 commission for selling the winning ticket, lottery officials said.
