A Midlands riverwalk to temporarily close for railroad repairs
The Saluda Riverwalk will be closed Monday, Jan. 29, through Wednesday, Jan. 31, in order for the CSX railroad to make repairs, according to a news release from the city of Columbia.
The entirety of Candi Lane also will be inaccessible, the release adds. Candi Lane runs parallel to Interstate 126 and the Saluda River, near Riverbanks Zoo and Gardens.
The Riverwalk will reopen to the public Feb. 1.
