A new restaurant with a South American flair is prepping a spot on a busy Columbia road.

Braza Chicken restaurant is planning a location at 676 St. Andrews Road. That’s just west of Interstate 26, across the road from the U.S. Foods Chef’s Store and a QT gas station.

“We’re passionate about bringing the authentic flavors of South America to your plate,” Braza Chicken said in a recent Instagram post announcing the restaurant is coming soon. “Our succulent rotisserie chicken is marinated with traditional herbs and spices, then slow-roasted to perfection. With a commitment to quality and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, we invite you to experience the taste of South America with us.”

In a response to a commenter on the recent social media post, Braza Chicken noted it would be serving “Peruvian style roasted chicken.”

An opening date for the restaurant has not yet been announced.

That section of St. Andrews Road is a bustling commercial thoroughfare. About 24,000 cars per day travel down that stretch of St. Andrews, per S.C. Department of Transportation data.
