Cash’s Chicken restaurant to open a second location in the Midlands. Check out where
A restaurant that has been popular in Chapin is set to open a second location not far from Lake Murray.
Cash’s Chicken is planning a location at 108 Garden Booke Drive near Irmo, according to a Thursday afternoon release from commercial real estate firm Wilson Kibler. Cash’s purchased the 1-acre property, which is at the corner of Garden Brooke Drive and Dreher Shoals Road, just east of Lake Murray. Other nearby businesses include Roxanne’s Market and WellSoul Spa + Salon, among others.
An opening date for the Garden Brooke Drive Cash’s location was not announced. It would be Cash’s first drive-thru location, the release said.
The first Cash’s Chicken opened in fall 2022 at 145 Chapin Road. The restaurant’s menu centers on chicken fingers, including baskets that come with chicken, fries, a honey buttered croissant and a special dipping sauce. They also have sandwiches, salads, party platters and more.
“Look no further for some good ole, finger-lickin’, lip-smacking, scratch-made chicken deliciousness in the middle of the Carolinas,” Cash’s says on its website.
The second Cash’s location will be in a bustling area that has seen continued development. About 16,000 cars per day travel down Dreher Shoals Road nearby, according to state Department of Transportation data.
