Search ends for South Carolina teenager who was reported missing, West Columbia police say

A search for a missing teenager from Lexington County has ended.

Jasmine Johnson was safely located, the West Columbia Police Department said Wednesday.

Jasmine publicly reported missing by police Tuesday. The 16-year-old wasconsidered a runaway, police said in a news release.

Jasmine’s family reported her missing Monday, according to the release.

Information about where and when Jasmine was found, and if she was alone, was not available.

There was no word why Jasmine ran away.
