A restaurant with tacos, tequila and more has closed a Columbia location after less than a year.

Barrio Tacos + Tequila has shuttered its spot at 4420 Devine St. in Columbia. The location is listed as “permanently closed” on Google, and it is no longer listed on the Barrio Tacos website. The Facebook page for the Devine Street Barrio is no longer active.

There also is a Barrio Tacos at 105 W. Main St. in Lexington, near the Icehouse Amphitheater. That location remains open.

The Devine Street Barrio Tacos had been open since February.

The company is known for a wide selection of specialty tacos as well as build-your-own options, along with appetizers, salsas and much more. Barrio restaurants also typically feature margaritas, bourbon and other libations.

Barrio Tacos has locations across several states, including Ohio, Michigan, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The Lexington location is currently the company’s only South Carolina outpost, according to a store locator tool on the Barrio website.
