A restaurant with Indian and Mexican flavors is being planned in Columbia.
Bowl N’ Burrito restaurant plans to open at 2000 Clemson Road in northeast Columbia, according to posts on the business’ Facebook page. That’s in the Magnolia Pointe shopping center that includes a Family Dollar/Dollar Tree combo store, a Hibbett Sports and a number of other businesses.
An opening date has not been publicly announced for Bowl N’ Burrito. The website for the restaurant notes it will be “opening soon.”
“Get ready to savor the bold and aromatic Indian spices blended perfectly into your favorite Mexican classics,” Bowl N’ Burrito said in a Jan. 2 Facebook post. “From masala-infused burritos and tikka-flavored bowls to tacos with a tangy chutney twist, every bite is a flavorful fusion adventure.”
The restaurant does not yet have a menu posted on its website.
Clemson Road is a high-traffic corridor in northeast Columbia. About 22,000 cars per day travel down the stretch near Magnolia Pointe, according to SC Department of Transportation data.
