If you are a fan of Indian and Mexican food, there’s a new spot for you to try in the Midlands that blends the flavors of both genres.

Bowl N’ Burrito recently opened its doors at 2000 Clemson Road in northeast Columbia. It’s located in the Magnolia Pointe shopping center that includes a Family Dollar/Dollar Tree combo store, a Hibbett Sports and several other businesses.

The Bowl N’ Burrito Facebook page notes the restaurant is a place “where the bold spices of India meet the vibrant flavors of Mexico.” It’s open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, per a Google listing.

“We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming response and eagerly anticipate serving even more of you today and in the future,” Bowl N’ Burrito said on social media on Jan. 26. “If you haven’t visited us yet, we would be delighted to welcome you and share our unique fusion of Indian flavors with a Mexican twist.”

The menu at Bowl N’ Burrito features, as you would guess, bowls and burritos, but also tacos, quesadillas, sides and more. The burritos and bowls can be customized with a number of tastes, including tikka masala, butter masala, Indian curries and more.

Clemson Road is a high-traffic corridor in northeast Columbia. About 22,000 cars per day travel down the section near Bowl N’ Burrito, according to SC Department of Transportation data.
