There’s a new spot for food, drinks and more along a busy thoroughfare in West Columbia.

Grace Lounge & Cafe recently opened its doors at 515 Meeting St. That’s in a small shopping and retail strip that includes businesses such as Always Original Bakery, Signature Catering and Market, Pretty Nails, and the Pedego electric bicycle shop.

“This safe space allows for some great music and atmosphere where people from all walks of life can come and enjoy great northern food with a southern twist and alcoholic drinks,” Grace Lounge & Cafe says on its Facebook page. “Catch the gracious vibes of our vision.”

The establishment recently shared videos on social media of some its food offerings, including shrimp and fries, Philly cheesesteaks, hamburgers, and teriyaki wings. A Grace menu shared on popular local Facebook page Columbia Eats also includes chicken tenders, hot dogs, onion rings and more.

Grace Lounge & Cafe is located along a busy stretch of Meeting Street just west of the Gervais Street bridge, not far from downtown Columbia. About 13,000 cars per day travel down that section of Meeting, per state Department of Transportation statistics.
