SCDOT announces road closures on I-77
South Carolina Department of Transportation officials announced temporary lane closures on Interstate 77 southbound to begin Monday.
Officials said the right lane of I-77 south will be closed as SCDOT workers install camera polls.
The dates and times of the closures are as follows:
▪ Aug. 10 from mile marker 27 to 26 from 5 p.m. until Aug. 11 at 5 a.m.
▪ Aug. 11 from mile marker 25 to 24 from 5 p.m. until Aug. 11 at 9 p.m.
▪ Aug. 11 from mile marker 20 to 19 from 9 p.m. until Aug. 12 at 5 a.m.
▪ Aug. 12 from mile marker 23 to 21 from 9 p.m. until Aug. 13 at 5 a.m.
Drivers that will be traveling in the area are urged to use caution during those times and be alert for road crews.
