A sports bar and restaurant in Columbia is temporarily closed as it reportedly goes through an ownership change.

The local outpost of national chain Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, which is located at 4561 Hard Scrabble Road in northeast Columbia, just north of Clemson Road, notified customers about the hiatus in a Friday post on Facebook.

“We would like to inform the community of our temporary closure at Beef O’ Brady’s while we prepare for our grand reopening,” the restaurant posted. “We appreciate your patience during this change of ownership and look forward to welcoming you back to the same great food and atmosphere soon!”

A reopening date for the restaurant has not been announced.

The northeast Columbia Beef ‘O’ Brady’s is located in the Lee Station shopping strip that also includes a Marco’s Pizza and other businesses. About 26,000 cars per day travel down busy Hard Scrabble Road in the section near the restaurant.

Beef ‘O’ Brady’s has franchised restaurants across a number of states. Its menu is known for burgers, fish and chips, wings, cold beer and more.
