A new restaurant has debuted in a busy commercial area in Irmo.
Hutto Seafood & Wings recently opened at 7467 St. Andrews Road suite 10. That’s near the intersection of St. Andrews Road and Lake Murray Boulevard, in a shopping center that is anchored by a Kroger grocery store.
The new seafood and wings spot opened on Feb. 18, announcing its debut on Facebook and Instagram. There was a large “Now Open” banner hanging at the restaurant when a reporter rode by on Monday morning.
“Whether you’re craving succulent shrimp, crispy calamari, or our signature wings slathered in your choice of sauce, we’ve got something for everyone,” Hutto Seafood & Wings said in a recent Instagram post. “Bring your friends and family along for a great meal and memorable moments!”
The menu at Hutto includes a number of steamed seafood baskets, including whiting, flounder, grouper and more. It also has fried seafood, including shrimp, catfish nuggets, red snapper and other offerings.
The wings are available in a host of flavors, including garlic Parmesan, honey hot, lemon pepper, barbecue, and sweet chili, among others.
Hutto Seafood & Wings is located along a busy stretch in Irmo, with a host of commercial businesses nearby. About 27,000 cars per day travel down Lake Murray Boulevard nearby, according to state Department of Transportation traffic count data, while roughly 18,000 cars per day travel down that section of St. Andrews Road.
