Search ends for woman reported missing after leaving SC for Pennsylvania, sheriff says

A search for a missing South Carolina woman with medical issues is over.

Tracy L. Murphy was located and is safe, the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office said at 8:48 p.m. Sunday. Information about where and when Murphy was found was not available.

Murphy was publicly reported missing by the sheriff’s office Saturday night.

Before she was located, Murphy was last seen Friday, when she was leaving Lakevue Landing on a trip to Derry, Pennsylvania, according to the release. At 10:14 a.m., Murphy appeared on camera as she was driving north toward Manning in a black 2022 Hyundai Tucson, the sheriff’s office said.

There was no word if Murphy was alone when she was last seen.

The woman has had both mental health and medical issues, including diabetes, according to the release.
