Carey Carr, a 46-year-old woman who lived in Neeses, S.C., died in the early hours Thursday from injuries she sustained during the crash, the Orangeburg County coroner said in a press release.

Two unidentified drivers hit Carr around 3:35 a.m. April 3 while driving along U.S. Highway 321 near River Rush Road, a spokesperson for the S.C. Highway Patrol Department said. Carr died at the scene.
