West Columbia man killed in Cayce traffic accident

The Lexington County coroner identified a man killed in a two-vehicle collision Thursday evening on the 2800 block of the Charleston Highway (US 321) as 21-year-old Clifton Lee Simmons of West Columbia.

Details of the accident were not released but it occurred near the I-26 clover-leaf interchange with US 321.

The accident is being investigated by the Cayce Police Department and Lexington County coroner’s office.
