Kershaw County authorities released photographs Saturday in hopes that the public can help locate two Camden 15-year-old girls, who are friends, reported missing by their families earlier in the week.

Caroline Lynne Spigner told her mother she was going to a 6 p.m. movie at Sandhills in Columbia August 3 and has not been seen since then. Her mother reported her a runaway when she failed to come home, the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Department said in a news release.

Caroline’s friend, Savannah Joy Wilson, was reported missing by her mother on August 5, four days after the teenager spent the night at her friend Caroline’s house.

Wilson’s mother told deputies that the last time she talked to her daughter was on the phone August 1st. At the time, Savannah told her mother she could not talk longer because she didn’t have any more minutes on her cell phone.

Savannah Wilson reportedly told her mother in the past that she had been in touch with an “older male” from Florida. Caroline Spigner reportedly told her mother “you better be lucky I came back home’ several days before she disappeared.

Caroline was last seen wearing blue jean shorts and a mint colored shirt. And Savannah Wilson now has blond hair, the sheriff’s department said.
