Lane closures could cause daytime congestion at Forest Drive, Trenholm Road

You may see some daytime traffic congestion – well, more than usual, anyway – near the intersection of Forest Drive and Trenholm Road for the next few days.

New traffic signals are being installed, which will likely cause some lane closures while new pole foundations are being poured.

Some lanes of Forest and Trenholm could be closed near the intersection from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. starting Wednesday and lasting through Friday, possibly.

Daytime work is expected to be finished by Friday. Crews will then work at nighttime for about three to four weeks to install the new signals.
