1 dead after a motorcycle crash in Lexington County, SC Highway Patrol says

A motorcycle driver died in a crash at the 100 block of White Falls Circle Friday night, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol and Lexington County Coroner’s Office.

The rider was identified as Connor Jakob Skipper, 27, of Columbia, according to the coroner’s office. Skipper drifted from the road around 11:35 p.m. and struck a brick mailbox, according to Master Patrolman Mitchell Ridgeway of the Highway Patrol.

Skipper was not weaing a helmet and died at the scene, according to the coroner’s office.

The highway patrol and coroner’s office are investigating the collision.
