A popular Columbia burger spot will reopen after changing owners. Here’s when
A restaurant known for its burgers is set to reopen its doors in a busy Columbia commercial thoroughfare.
Steve’s Classic Burgers, located at 612 St. Andrews Road suite 7, will reopen at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 19, according to a Wednesday Facebook post from the business. The business had been closed for a few months after a change in ownership and subsequent renovations.
“After a lot of hard work and dedication, we have reached the finish line, and we can’t wait to welcome you back through our doors,” Steve’s Classic Burgers said on social media. “Join us for an exciting day filled with delicious food, bright smiles, and a welcoming atmosphere that you know and love.”
The restaurant was initially opened in 2015 by Steve and Marilynn Vough. They announced nearly a year ago they would be stepping away from the business in 2025, and teased the possibility of a sale. On May 7, the restaurant announced on Facebook that the business had been sold.
Steve’s Classic Burgers has previously been known, as you would imagine, for its menu of hamburgers, but also for its fries, onion rings, chicken strips and more.
“Come celebrate in our freshened up space and experience our revamped menu featuring both classic favorites and new culinary delights,” Steve’s said in its Wednesday social media post.
