A deer smashed through a glass door of the Richland Library in St. Andrews on Broad River Road on Monday.
After some coaxing, library staff were able to get the deer out of the building.
“Needless to say we’re grateful no one was hurt,” said Tacara Carpenter, the libary’s media relations strategist.
The St. Andrews library was renovated and reconfigured at a cost of $4.5 million in 2017. It is one of 13 Richland Library locations.
