SC driver dies in single-car crash Friday morning. What we know

One person is dead after a Friday morning wreck in Aiken County.

The Aiken County Coroner’s office said in a release it responded at about 7:15 a.m. Friday to Wire Road near Uncle Duck Road in reference to the crash. An investigation showed that a 1994 Acura sedan was traveling north on the 3000 block of Wire Road when it left the roadway, overturned and ejected the driver.

The coroner’s office identified the driver as Ke’Lonte Stanley, 29. He died at the scene, the coroner’s office said.

The S.C. Highway Patrol and the Aiken County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate the incident.
