Shooting at Columbia apartment resulted in likely non-fatal injuries, police say
A shooting at Stone Ridge Apartments led to one adult man being taken to the hospital Tuesday night, the Columbia Police Department shared in a social media post.
The man was reportedly found shot outside the apartments, which are located at 1000 Watermark Place, according to the social media post. The injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, as of Tuesday evening, the X post said.
The Columbia Police Department is investigating what led up to the shooting, according to the social media post. There was no immediate information available on a shooter or motive. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting as of Wednesday around 12:30 p.m., a spokesperson for the Columbia Police Department wrote in an email. The shooting appears to be isolated, according to the email.
