This busy area near Columbia has a new spot for peach cobbler, other desserts
A new spot for a sweet bite has debuted in Irmo.
The Peach Cobbler Factory, which has locations across the U.S., has opened a new location at 7467 St. Andrews Road suite 19, as noted on the shop’s social media. The eatery is located in the shopping plaza that’s anchored by a Kroger grocery store, near the intersection of St. Andrews Road and Lake Murray Boulevard.
“Stop by and treat yourself to warm cobblers, creamy puddings, and the sweetest desserts in town,” the Irmo Peach Cobbler Factory said in an Oct. 18 Facebook post.
There are Peach Cobbler Factory locations across the U.S., including in states such as Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio, Texas, and Tennessee. Other South Carolina locations include Florence, Indian Land, Myrtle Beach, and Lexington. The Lexington location opened in January 2024 along Sunset Boulevard.
The Peach Cobbler Factory menu includes, of course, peach cobbler, but also a host of other cobbler flavors, including strawberry peach, mango peach, honey apple, cherry, sweet potato pecan and more. The restaurant also carries cookies, milkshakes, and a variety of banana puddings. Specialty banana pudding flavors include, among others, New York cheesecake, red velvet, and cherry swirl.
The area where the new Irmo Peach Cobbler Factory is located is a high-traffic corridor with a host of restaurants and businesses nearby. About 19,000 cars per day travel down St. Andrews Road in that area, per state Department of Transportation data, while about 27,000 cars per day traverse down Lake Murray Boulevard in that stretch.
