A new Columbia market for antiques, vintage items has a debut date. What to know
A new market for antiques, vintage clothing and more is set to make its debut in a growing Columbia neighborhood.
Bullseye Vintage, a new monthly antique and vintage market from the team behind the wildly popular Soda City Market, will have its first session from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, in the BullStreet District near downtown Columbia. The market will set up at Freed and Boyce streets, just in front of Segra Park baseball stadium.
The market is set to take place every third Sunday, year-round, according to a release from organizers.
“Columbia’s variety of eclectic, self-supporting communities are the driving forces of its valuable culture,” Soda City Market business director Olivia Pope said in a statement. “When we create opportunities for these communities to regularly gather, grow, and make a home, we enrich Columbia as a whole. Vintage and antique enthusiasts are looking for dedicated spaces to sell with zero pressure of having to open a physical shop, and that is where Bullseye Vintage enters the game.”
“It’s been incredible to have the BullStreet District embrace the vision,” Pope said in the news release.
Organizers say Bullseye Vintage will “feature a curated mix of antique dealers, vintage collectors, and retro-inspired makers.” The lineup for the Nov. 16 debut of Bullseye will feature 20 vendors including Pannerpete Vintage, Hammered Daisy, Expired Rags and many others.
There will also be music on Nov. 16 from DJ VooDoo Child and the band Ten Mile Ride.
The vintage market arrives at a busy moment for the BullStreet District, the Hughes Development-led reimagining of the sprawling, 181-acre former State Mental Hospital site.
Gather COLA, Columbia’s first open-air food hall, announced it will open Dec. 5 at BullStreet. It will have 10 restaurants, two bars, three retailers, office space and more.
Meanwhile, officials recently announced that the Grand Willow, a seven-story, 136-room hotel, will be built at BullStreet, not far from Segra Park. It is set to open in 2027.
