Nominate your favorite Christmas light displays for our SC Midlands guide. Here’s how

Do you go out in search of the Midlands’ best holiday light displays?

You know, the people who go all out like the movie “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.” Lights everywhere. Motion reindeer. Blowup Santas. Maybe even a lighted palm tree or two.

If so, The State would like to see your pictures, either of your own home or some you happened upon or know of from years past.

We know about the awesomeness of 2 miles of lights at Saluda Shoals Park and The Columbia Fireflies Holiday Lights Show.

We’re looking for the most creative, down home displays. The kind that makes you say “wow” and “how did they do that” as you sit in your car, cocoa in hand, holiday music on the radio.

That stuff from which memories are made.

Submissions are open now. Folks may submit more than one Christmas and holiday light display to be included in the guide.
