These Columbia restaurants will be open on Thanksgiving Day 2025 serving holiday meals

If you want a break from all that Thanksgiving cooking, baking, cleaning and table setting, a number of Columbia restaurants are open and offering the usual fare of turkey, dressing and lots of sides.

Here are nine restaurants offering a traditional meal and five that are open and serving Thanksgiving with a twist. Braza de Sul Brazilian Steakhouse is offering roast turkey in addition to a plethora of meats, including ham, sirloin,filet, ribeye, ribs, chicken and more, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole with marshmallows, stuffing and lots more sides. There are also a number of cold salads on the menu.

Halls Chophouse in Columbia Thanksgiving menu includes heritage smoked turkey and southern fried turkey, Croissant bread stuffing, cranberry sauce, roasted Brussels sprouts, whipped Yukon Gold potatoes, house-made gravy and Pie — apple crumble, pecan and pumpkin.

Hampton Street Vineyard has a special three-course Thanksgiving menu including Butternut Squash Bisque, honey crisp apple salad, sherry roasted beets, citrus brinded roast turkey with andouille cornbread stuffing, braised collards, jalapeño orange cranberry sauce, roasted shallot gravy; peppercorn-horseradish encrusted rib roast with rosemary mashed potato, broccolini, red wine au jus. Dessert sweet potato bread pudding, caramelized apple pie and turtle cheesecake.

Columbo’s offers a Thanksgiving buffet with roasted turkey, roast beef, ham and salmon, cornbread stuffing, macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes, green beans and a shrimp and grits station. Salad bar, shrimp cocktail and much more. Desserts include apple crisp, pumpkin pie and chocolate cake.

Located in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, 2100 Bush River Road

Cola’s menu includes Oysters Rockefeller, brussel sprouts, egg rolls, calamari as well as a traditional turkey dinner with giblet gravy, apple-sausage-walnut cornbread dressing, whipped sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and cranberry sauce for $30.

An assortment of other main courses are available including flounder, salmon, filet mignon, pork chops.

Lizard’s Thicket, a Columbia family owned tradition is offering traditional Thanksgiving sides and desserts (or breakfast if you prefer). Turkey, candied yams, collards, black eyed peas, green beans, mac and cheese, you name it. Also, apple pie, carrot cake, banana pudding, pecan pie, and blackberry and peach cobblers

California Dreaming will offer traditional roast turkey and sugar-cured ham with sides such as sweet potatoes, green beans and carrots, red-skin mashed potatoes, Southern herb stuffing, cornbread and a choice of pecan or pumpkin pie.

Cracker Barrel offers turkey and dressing, sweet potato casserole, and green beans served with turkey gravy, cranberry relish, dinner rolls, & pumpkin pie slice. This can be ordered online in advance and they will bring it to your car. Also available chicken and dumplings and a vegetable plate

Golden Corral offers an all-you-can-eat buffet, including turkey and ham and all the usual sides. It also is offering Thanksgiving meals to go. Customers can order online through the Golden Corral app for curbside pickup or delivery.

Less traditional Thanksgiving in Columbia

If you’re looking for something a little different, here are some choices:

Flaming Grill Buffet, an Asian all-you-can eat restaurant, will offer crab legs, sushi, hibachi, pho and other items.

The Grand says you can eat some Thanksgiving food and bowl. They will serve traditional fare as well as their usual menu.

MOA Korean BBQ and Bar You can cook your own meal at the table-set grills. Marinated meats available as well as the usual menu of chicken wings, Korean tacos or bibimbap.

The Hoot has an answer for anyone looking for vegan. The Hoot has it with “turkey” with cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy, baked mac and cheese and roasted garlicky green beans. A regular menu of sandwiches, burgers and more are also available.

The British Bulldog Pub says it will give you Thanksgiving with “a proper British twist.” Roast turkey, sides, hearty pudding and “pints poured with care.”
