A popular Lexington shopping center is getting a new smoothie bar. Here’s where
A new spot for smoothies and more is planned for a high-traffic shopping area in Lexington.
The Daily Blend smoothie shop is in the works at 5230 Sunset Blvd. suite F, according to social media posts from the business. The shop is also listed in the town of Lexington’s most recent new business license report. It will be in the Lexington Square shopping center that is anchored by a Lowes Foods grocery store.
The shop will offer superfruit acai bowls, smoothies, toasts and more, according to its Instagram profile. An opening date for The Daily Blend hasn’t been publicly announced, but the business published a notice on social media that it is now hiring.
The Daily Blend will be going into a space that formerly was home to a Clean Juice shop. The Clean Juice closed in August.
There are a host of businesses in the Lexington Square shopping center, including the aforementioned Lowes Foods, as well as Sukiya Japanese Steakhouse, The Wing Place, Sola Salons, and the Hollywood Feed pet food store, among others.
The shopping center is in one of the busiest, most high-traffic commercial corridors in the Midlands. More than 43,000 cars per day travel down that stretch of Sunset Boulevard, per state Department of Transportation stats.
