Missing Sumter County teens located in North Carolina

Sumter County Sheriff’s Office officials said two teenage girls who have been missing since Friday were located Tuesday morning by law enforcement in North Carolina.

Braden Bunch, a sheriff’s office spokesman, said 16-year-old Chasity Lynn Jones, a Gable-area resident, and 15-year-old Bennettsville resident Jamie Settle were located Tuesday morning by officers, while the girls were sleeping in a truck parked at a rest area near Warsaw, N.C.

Bunch said the families of the teenagers have been notified and arrangements are being made to return the girls to their parents.
