SCDOT: Harden Street to close for maintenance Thursday morning

South Carolina Department of Transportation officials announced Tuesday that Harden Street in Five Points will be closed due to scheduled maintenance work Thursday morning.

Officials said the eastbound lanes of Harden Street just south of Gervais Street, from Pendleton Street to Senate Street, will be closed to traffic Wednesday evening until 6 a.m. Thursday for excavation and installation of a drainage structure.

Detours will be in place for motorists to follow. All motorists in the area during the scheduled times are urged to drive with caution.
