Teenager dies after car overturns along SC roadway on Christmas Eve

A South Carolina teenager was killed in a car wreck on Christmas Eve, authorities said.

The Aiken County Coroner’s Office said in a news release that Graniteville’s Aiden C. Judy, 18, died in a single-car crash Wednesday night along Connector Road in Graniteville. The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the coroner’s office are continuing to investigate.

According to the Aiken County Coroner’s Office, Judy was driving a 2007 Kia sedan north on Connector Road at about 9 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle reportedly left the roadway, hit a culvert and overturned. Judy died at the scene, authorities said.
