Work began on the 1,100-acre Scout Motors site in Blythewood in 2024.
A tour of the plant on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, shows mostly enclosed buildings, with work going on inside to install air conditioning and the infrastructure necessary for the manufacturing of electronic vehicles and key components.
The first design vehicles will be produced at Scout Motors by the end of 2026. Those vehicles will be hand-built and used to test production at the plant. Actual vehicles produced for the public will be manufactured in late 2027 to early 2028.
